Bed and Breakfast at Courtburn House

Set in pretty, mature gardens and woodland, this charming, detached period home is located in the attractive village of Coldingham and only 1½ miles from the wonderful surfing beach on Coldingham Bay and less than three miles from the National Trust Nature Reserve at St Abbs. It is perfectly postioned to make the most of a holiday in Scotland's Border country. The house dates back to the 18th-century and boasts a lovely sunny guest's lounge, which overlooks the garden, and a wood paneled dining room.

The village of Coldingham offers village shops and pubs. There are plenty of activities including golf, bird-watching, walking, cycling, fishing and diving. Paxton House and Ayton Castle are just a sample of the wealth of local historic interest and can be easily reached. Further afield is Edinburgh, a scenic one-hour drive, or alternatively, the Northumbrian Coast, including Holy Island & Bamburgh Castle can be easily explored.

ROOMS

Room 1 A ground floor twin bedded room, en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower over.

Room 2 A ground floor room with double bed, en-suite shower room and power shower.

Rooms 1 and 2 share a short corridor which can be isolated for privacy if both of the rooms are booked by one party.

Room 3 Situated on the first floor, the room has great southerly views, twin beds and an adjacent private bathroom (Bath with shower attachment).

All rooms are central heated, offer freeview television and have tea & coffee making facilities. Additional hot drinks, a refrigerator and complimentary internet connected PC are available in the guests lounge. Wireless internet is also available.

Double / Twin £75 per room (£37.50 per person)
Single £65
Rates include breakfast with special dietary needs catered for if given notice.
Minimum stay two nights at weekends (Fri - Sun) from Easter to end of September - single night bookings may be accepted within seven days of arrival.
